Plastic Bottles & Jugs: Containers Only. Check the bottom of the container for the recycling logo. Inside the logo is a number identifying the type of plastic. Generally, plastics accepted for recycling  are type 1 and 2 post consumer food grade bottles.

Office Paper: Can be tied with string, placed in box or put in paper bags. Then place in drop-off container at City Carton Recycling, 1000 South Houser, Muscatine.

Tin Cans: All tin and aluminum cans are acceptable. Rinse the can. Please remove the labels if possible. Crush the can or stack smaller ones inside larger cans.

Cardboard: Corrugated cardboard only. Please flatten and stack. Drop-off site available at City Carton Recycling, 1000 S. Houser, Muscatine for residential community. The business community will need to call 563-288-6956 for further details.

Magazines: Only slick or shiny magazines and catalogs accepted.

Text Box: Glass Bottles & Jars: Clear only. Food and beverage containers only. These containers must be rinsed and the lids removed. (Metal lids can go with the tin cans).
