Service Award Program

To show our appreciation and gratitude, our Service Award Program recognizes and honors dedicated employees who’ve been with us at least one year. City Carton uses this program to say “thank you!” to employees for the years of continued commitment to the company’s success.

Highlights include:

1 Year of Service=Appreciation Letter and Certificate.

5 Years of Service=Appreciation Letter and Certificate; lunch in anniversary month with our President and/or Vice President; and five year Jacket.

10, 15, 20+ Years of Service=Appreciation Letter and Certificate; lunch in anniversary month with our President and/or Vice President; and special gift.

Referral Bonus

Employees are eligible for a $200 Referral Bonus when they refer others to join our Team!

Attendance Bonus

Employees are eligible for an Attendance Bonus based on their attendance record and pay.

Fun!

Company Parties

City Carton folks love to celebrate! And they’re given the chance at several Company parties throughout the year! Our Annual Holiday Party, held before Christmas, includes dinner, awards, entertainment, and prizes. Family-oriented Summer Parties are held throughout the Company at various lakes and recreational areas such as the Coralville Reservoir, Wacky Waters, and Seven Ponds Park.

Charity Events

City Carton employees, friends, and customers have an opportunity to participate in a wide variety of fun activities benefiting the American Cancer Society. Included in those events are Daffodil Days in the spring and the Company’s Charity Golf Outing in the summer. In the past 15 years, City Carton folks have helped raise over $659-thousand for the American Cancer Society!
