Burlington, Westwood and Winfield have Curbside Recycling through the Des Moines County Regional Solid Waste Commission. Note : Cereal boxes are not accepted. They may be dropped at City Carton, Mt. Pleasant, in the cardboard area).
Residents of Henry County have recycling through Whaley Waste systems. You can recycle at the same time you drop off your trash on your specified days or at Whaley Waste Systems. |

NEW! Tin Cans: All tin and aluminum cans are acceptable. Metal lids from glass jars are also acceptable. Please rinse the can and remove the label if possible. Crush the can or stack smaller ones inside large cans and then place in the proper recycling receptacle. |
